At Matukituki Natives we are passionate about restoring the biodiversity of our region. We’ve been established for over a decade and have successfully grown, planted and maintained over half a million native plants. We pride ourselves on being specialists in native planting projects and their ongoing management.

Reveg project management

Invasive weed control
Invasive weeds are a continuing threat to our biodiversity and can quickly overwhelm young native plants if not kept in check. We are certified for chemical control of weeds and also the use of chainsaws for the big weeds.
Pest control
Pest management plays an important role in establishing healthy native landscapes. We can advise on the most appropriate protection for your project, supply plant guards and traps, and connect you with experienced local contractors who provide professional pest control services.
Irrigation systems
Establishing native plants can be challenging in dry conditions, particularly during their first few seasons. Where appropriate, we design and install irrigation systems to help maximise plant survival, encourage healthy growth and give your planting project the best possible start.
