Absolutely. We can help you select the right native plants for your site and recommend suitable planting options based on your property’s conditions and your goals. If you’re in the early planning stages, our Getting Started with Native Planting guide is a great place to begin.

Eco-sourced native plants are grown from seed collected within the same local area where the plants will eventually be planted. This means they’re naturally adapted to the local climate, soils and growing conditions.

Using eco-sourced plants helps maintain the unique genetic characteristics of local plant populations and can improve the long-term success of revegetation and restoration projects. It’s one of the reasons eco-sourced plants are often preferred for conservation work.

At Matukituki Natives, we specialise in growing eco-sourced native plants for Central Otago and the Southern Lakes.
